Trans-National PDM Deployment

As part of the Airbus Concurrent Engineering (ACE) initiative, Ken Tomlinson has managed the successful deployment of the company’s first trans-national PDM system which operates at sites in the UK, France, Germany and Spain.

This solution developed for a new Airbus programme (a military transport aircraft) totally integrates a globally configured CAD(Catia)/PDM(Windchill) environment  and manages the digital mock-up (DMU) through the entire design life-cycle.

In this role, Ken has coordinated the deployment teams comprising: development, integration, test, training and support disciplines.
