· Sally has operated as a technical Sales Consultant in the National Accounts division of a major UK software vendor dealing mainly with Multi-National Companies, Central Government and Major product users. The role involved: o Maximising the sale of software, training, consultancy and new products; o Customer relationships at various levels within the accounts and evaluation of overall effectiveness; o Giving presentations to multi-national prospects and clients; o Representing the company at Exhibitions and User Group meetings; o Sally had an article explaining "Earned Value Analysis Methodology" published in the "Project Management Today" magazine. · Sally is an experienced trainer in both the techniques of Project Management and use of supporting software technology. Sally has delivered training courses on a wide range of topics including: o Introduction to Personal Computers; Introduction to Project Planning; o Planning using Project Management Software; Resourcing & Costing using Project Management Software; o Project Management Reporting; o Many bespoke advanced user training courses based on specific requirements. · Sally has worked in a start-up environment when she set up a department which offered training and consultancy in a major Project Management Software package. The initial stages of this role involved: o Processes - Setting up the administration procedures; o Marketing - Preparing Advertising and Mailshots; o Logistics - Planning and issuing dates schedules; Arranging room hire and computer equipment for training; Hiring external Consultants; o Technical Content - Developing the training material; Liaising with the Technical Authors on the content of the User Documentation; o Flexibility - Many of the training courses were based on clients specific requirements which involved a need for flexibility and a sound understanding of planning projects.
